Welcome to Pride Rock Net! I am dedicated to having anything and everything Lion King I can get my paws on here. Well, G-rated and able to fit on the site, of course. I like to keep everything kid-friendly here! However, I'm not responsible for ads or anything on links. I try to keep things as kid-friendly as possible on this site's message board, but I recommend parents know what their kids are posting and viewing on there for any child under 13. Latest: (11-27-09) Well, I felt festive so there's a few holiday perks that will be around until the end of December. Hopefully, I should be able to upgrade the C-box account to premium to allow for user integration so only forum members can use the chatbox. But even sooner than that I should have an option to use different skins on the forums! So keep watching to see what goes on. (09-20-09) Our member (and Anansi's brother and my friend) Cheesecake has officially been made a forum moderator, as well as security detail. Also, we've jumped up to #28 on the Top 50 Lion King Sites list! (09-14-09) I'm just amazed at how high this place is ranked on Top 50 Lion King Sites. We're at #31 already! All the other sites above #61 have more hits than us, most with hundreds or thousands while we've made it with just 66! So I feel I should get in gear and finish this place before we make it to the top 10, haha. So expect a complete characters page, a video page, a new site video, song clips, and maybe a few new graphics. (06-24-09) Grand opening and 15th anniversary of The Lion King!!! I'm not entirely finished with everything yet, so keep checking back in days to come! And don't forget to spread the word about this site, check out the forums, and vote for this site! (06-20-09) Changed the color of the links. Apparently the bright lime green color hurt some people's eyes. So hopefully they're a lot easier to look at now. (06-10-09) I've gotten a domain now! from now on (so long as I have enough money for payments in this economy) Pride Rock Net is now at www.priderocknet.net! and so I added back themes and stuff in the Fun Stuff, and I put the image galleries right on the site! (06-03-09) Made and added a video for the site. I might make a better one sometime. Click the i button to copy the code and use it to advertise. (05-07-09) I've made our member and my best friend Anansi my other moderator for the forums! (04-18-09) I've made our member Pip my first moderator for the forums! (02-24-09) Well, I was going to e-mail Disney and request access to the Wild About Safety tips, cartoons on Disney park brochures featuring Timon and Pumbaa, but I found a whole site for it! And there's even a screensaver and desktop theme! So I'm awed and happy about this. But I'm still going to e-mail them to get some questions answered. (02-22-09) Changed the background music. It's now "Song for the Children" off Return to Pride Rock. I felt it was more fitting and had a better beat to it....since I've had "This Land" called African elevator music before. I've also changed the background from Cabanova's sunrise template to my sunrise with Pride Rock. You can vote on which this site should have at the Pride Polls. (02-20-09) I've got over 100 screengrabs so far, and I'm just in scene 2 of the 1st movie....I believe I'm going to get my dream come true: biggest screengrab collection. Also, my CDs and some of the books I ordered are in, and I'm going to have some new scans up. Oh, and I'm sorry to say I'm getting rid of all the desktop theme downloads because they're taking up room I could use for much more stuff. But the second I upgrade this site, they'll be back! Oh, and there's now background music. I wanted to go with "Under the Stars" or "Jungle Boogie" but "This Land" was smaller. (02-19-09) I've made some updates to the logo and banners. They look way better now! Plus, they now include the sunrise like the background here! Also, I added a link button, just in case anyone wants to add one to here from their site. (02-14-09) Didn't you just love Friday the 13th? Well, I've went 7 solid hours working on trying to get this site setup with a free domain. So this place might be at a different web address, probably http://pride_rock.net or something. Altogether, I spent 9 hours on the computer today. And the forum (message board) is up and running! (02-08-09) NOOOOO! The last episodes of Timon & Pumbaa Show on ToonDisney aired today! There's no more Timon & Pumbaa on ToonDisney to make room for the new XD line up! This upsets me....But for those of you who have Boomerang, I heard it will come on there before long. (01-30-09) OMG! I just thought of an awesome unique addition to this website! I'm a musician so I have a Lion King songbook with music for piano and guitar. There's also some easier piano songs in a Disney songbook I have. So expect my music sheets in the Music section of the site! (01-25-09) Added new pages. I still need to put everything I need on them. I'm really wishing I had more than 10 MB of space so I wouldn't be linking so much :P (01-04-09) I've gotten permission from Moka to use storyboards and The Lion King II: Simba's Pride concept art from My Lion King. Added credit line and link. Still working on image gallery. (01-02-09) I've gotten permission from Brian Tiemann to use stuff from The Lion King WWW Archive. I've added the credits and link. I've also added several pages and updated some things on others. (01-01-09) A whole new year. I've made a few updates already. DJ Coulz has given me permission to use her scans of comics and books! I've added her site to the links section and added her credit in the Image Gallery. Will be adding her scans shortly. Awaiting permission from the other sites still. (12-30-08) Basic stuff done. I'm working on getting the image gallery up and running first. The tons of screengrabs I'm wanting will take awhile. The books, comics, storyboards, game grabs, Lion King Activity Center images, storyboards, and some coloring pages will be coming from other sources so I need to get permission first.
